Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the General Teaching Council for England (Constitution) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 30th June 2000.

Section 2

The General Teaching Council for England (Constitution) Regulations 1999 shall be amended by—

(a) the substitution in regulation 3 of “64” for “63”;

(b) the substitution in regulation 8 of “17” for “16”;

(c) the deletion of the word “and” at the end of regulation 8(m);

(d) the insertion of the word “and” at the end of regulation 8(n); and

(e) the insertion after regulation 8(n) of the following paragraph:

(o) one member by the Disability Rights Commission.
