The Distress for Rent (Amendment) Rules 2000

Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) These Rules may be cited as the Distress for Rent (Amendment) Rules 2000 and shall come into force:

(a) as to rule 2(b), on 2nd January 2001; and

(b) as to the remainder of these Rules, on 3rd July 2000.

(2) In these Rules “the principal rules” means the Distress for Rent Rules 1988 .

Section 2 Amendments to Distress for Rent Rules 1988

The following entries in Appendix 3 to the principal rules shall be deleted:—

(a) the entry relating to Lichfield; and

(b) the entry relating to Workington.

Section 3 Amendments to Distress for Rent Rules 1988

In question 8 of Form 3 (Application for Certificate to Levy Distress) in Appendix 2 to the principal rules, the words from “In support of your answer” to “your home address” shall be deleted.
