These Regulations may be cited as the Disabled Persons (Badges for Motor Vehicles) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 1st July 2000.

The Disabled Persons (Badges for Motor Vehicles) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2000
The Disabled Persons (Badges for Motor Vehicles (England) Regulations 2000 shall be amended in accordance with the following provisions of these Regulations.
Regulation 2 shall be amended as follows—
(a) in paragraph (1) in the definition of “disabled person’s badge”, after “means” there shall be inserted “, subject to paragraph (1A),” and
(b) after paragraph (1), there shall be inserted—
(1A) For the purposes of regulations 12 to 16, the definition of “disabled person’s badge” in paragraph (1) shall include a badge issued under regulations having effect in Scotland or Wales under section 21 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970.
Regulation 4 shall be amended as follows—
In paragraph (2)(a), for “1982” there shall be substituted “1992”.
