Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the East London and The City Mental Health National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 2000 and shall come into force on 30th June 2000.

Section 2 Amendment of NHS trust establishment Order

After article 4 of the East London and The City Mental Health National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 2000 there shall be inserted the following article—

Significant teaching commitment

(4A)

(1) The trust is to be regarded as having a significant teaching commitment by virtue of paragraph 3(1)(d) of Schedule 2 to the Act.

(2) One of the non-executive directors of the trust shall be appointed from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London.
