Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Immigration (Control of Entry through Republic of Ireland) (Amendment) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 30th July 2000.

Section 2
In article 4(2) of the Immigration (Control of Entry through Ireland) Order 1972 , after “shall not apply to any person”, there is inserted “who arrives in the United Kingdom with leave to enter or remain in the United Kingdom which is in force but which was given to him before his arrival or”.
