Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the M1 Motorway (Junction 15) (Speed Limit) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 8th August 2000.

Section 2 Interpretation

In these Regulations—

“the northbound entry slip road” means the northbound entry slip road linking the northbound carriageway of the M1 Motorway with the A508 at Junction 15; and

“the restricted length of the northbound entry slip road” means that length of the northbound entry slip road from its junction with the A508 Trunk Road for a distance of 30 metres northward.

Section 3 Imposition of speed limit

No person shall drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 40 miles per hour on the restricted length of the northbound entry slip road.
