Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the West Suffolk Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment 2000 and shall come into force on 13th September 2000.

Section 2 Amendment of NHS trust establishment Order

After article 4 of the West Suffolk Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1992 there shall be inserted the following article—

Significant teaching commitment

(4A)

(1) The trust is to be regarded as having a significant teaching commitment by virtue of paragraph 3(1)(d) of Schedule 2 to the Act.

(2) One of the non-executive directors of the trust shall be appointed from the University of Cambridge.
