Section 1Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the Legal Aid in Criminal and Care Proceedings (General) (Amendment) (No. 5) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 18th October 2000.

In regulation 48(13)(c) of the Legal Aid in Criminal and Care Proceedings (General) Regulations 1989 , before “a High Court judge” there shall be inserted “the registrar,”.
