Section 1

(1) This Order may be cited as the Continental Shelf (Designation of Areas) (Consolidation) Order 2000.

(2) The Continental Shelf (Designation of Areas) Orders 1964 to 1999 are revoked, except that Article 3 of the Continental Shelf (Designated Areas) (Extended Territorial Sea) Order 1987 shall continue in force.

(3) This Order shall come into force on 6th December 2000.

Section 2

The areas defined in the Schedule to this Order are hereby designated as areas within which the rights of the United Kingdom outside territorial waters with respect to the sea bed and subsoil and their natural resources are exercisable.
