Section 1
(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Highways Noise Payments and Moveable Homes (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 23rd November 2000.
(2) These Regulations extend to England only.

The Highways Noise Payments and Movable Homes (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2000
Section 2
The Highways Noise Payment and Moveable Homes (England) Regulations 2000 shall be amended as follows:
(a) in regulation 3(1) (power to make noise payments) for the word “shall” there shall be substituted the word “may”;
(b) in regulation 5(1) (limitations on noise payments) for the words “shall be £1,650” there shall be substituted the words “shall not exceed £1,650”.
