Section 1Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the Social Fund (Recovery by Deductions from Benefits) Amendment Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 9th April 2001.

Section 2Amendment to regulation 3 of the Social Fund (Recovery by Deductions from Benefits) Regulations 1988
In regulation 3 (benefits from which an award may be recovered) of the Social Fund (Recovery by Deductions from Benefits) Regulations 1988 , after paragraph (dd) there shall be inserted the following paragraphs—
(ee) widowed parent’s allowance under section 39A of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 ;
(ff) bereavement allowance under section 39B of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 .
