Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Northern Ireland Act 1998 (Modification) (No. 2) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 4th January 2001.

Section 2Modification of the Northern Ireland Act 1998

In subsection (6) of section 87 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 at the end there shall be added the following paragraph—

(o) the Child Support, Pensions and Social Security Act 2000 and the Child Support, Pensions and Social Security Act (Northern Ireland) 2000
