Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Magistrates' Courts Warrants (Specification of Provisions) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 8th January 2001.

Section 2 Specified provisions

The following provisions are specified for the purposes of section 125A(3) of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980—

(a) section 16(2) of the Children and Young Persons Act 1969 ;

(b) in the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980—

(i) section 76;

(ii) section 83(1) and (2);

(iii) section 86(4);

(iv) section 93(5);

(v) section 136;

(c) section 40 of the Child Support Act 1991 ;

(d) section 77(1)(b) of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 ;

(e) in the Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000 :

(i) section 104(1);

(ii) section 123(1);

(iii) paragraph 3(1)(b) of Schedule 3;

(iv) paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 5;

(v) paragraph 6(2) of Schedule 8 (but only where an application is made under paragraph 2(1) of that Schedule);

(f) regulations 41(1) and 42(5)(b) of the Community Charges (Administration and Enforcement) Regulations 1989 ;

(g) regulations 16(3)(a) and 17(5)(b) of the Non-Domestic Rating (Collection and Enforcement) (Local Lists) Regulations 1989 ;

(h) regulations 47(3)(a) and 48(5)(b) of the Council Tax (Administration and Enforcement) Regulations 1992 .
