Section 2Commencement
Section 24 of the Employment Relations Act 1999 (Central Arbitration Committee: members) shall come into force on 22nd February 2000.
Section 3Transitional provision
A person holding office immediately before 22nd February 2000 as a member of the Central Arbitration Committee, in accordance with his appointment under section 260 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 , shall be treated on and after that date as if he had been appointed in accordance with that section as amended by section 24 of the Employment Relations Act 1999.
