Section 1Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security Benefits Up-rating and Miscellaneous Increases Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 10th April 2000.

Section 2Amendment of the Social Security (Incapacity Benefit) Regulations 1994
In regulation 8 of the Social Security (Incapacity Benefit) Regulations 1994 (limit of earnings from councillor’s allowance) for the sum of “£49.50” substitute the sum of “£58.50”.
Section 3Revocation
Regulation 5 of the Social Security Benefits Up-rating Regulations 1999 is hereby revoked.
