Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Northern Ireland Act 1998 (Modification) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 13th April 2000.

Section 2Modification of the Northern Ireland Act 1998

In subsection (6) of section 87 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 at the end there shall be added the following paragraph–

(n) the Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999 and the Welfare Reform and Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 1999
