Section 1Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Electricity (Standards of Performance) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 1st April 2000.

(2) In these Regulations “ Principal Regulations ” means the Electricity (Standards of Performance) Regulations 1993 as amended by the Electricity (Standards of Performance) (Amendment) Regulations 1995 and the Electricity (Standards of Performance) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 .

Section 2Amendment of the Principal Regulations

Part I of the Schedule to the Principal Regulations shall be amended in respect of Regulation 4(2)(a) by replacing the words “24 hours” in column (2) with the words “18 hours”.
