Section 1Title and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Tetrachloroethylene in Olive Oil (Revocation) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 1st May 2000.

Section 2Revocation and amendment

(1) The Tetrachloroethylene in Olive Oil Regulations 1989 are hereby revoked.

(2) The Food Safety (Consequential Modifications) (England and Wales) Regulations 1990 are hereby amended by omitting the entries relating to the Tetrachloroethylene in Olive Oil Regulations 1989 in Part I of Schedule 1, Part II of Schedule 3, and Schedule 5.
