Section 1Citation, commencement, interpretation and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (General Ophthalmic Services) Amendment Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on 10th April 2001.
(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations ” means the National Health Service (General Ophthalmic Services) Regulations 1986 .
(3) These Regulations extend to England only.

Section 2Amendment of regulation 13 of the principal Regulations

In regulation 13(2)(c) and (g) of the principal Regulations (sight tests—eligibility) for “£70.00” on each occasion it appears there shall be substituted “£71.00”.
