Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Housing Benefit (Permitted Totals) (Amendment) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 1st April 2001.

(2) In this Order “the Permitted Totals Order 1996” means the Housing Benefit (Permitted Totals) Order 1996 .

Section 2 Amendment of article 3 of the Permitted Totals Order 1996

In article 3 of the Permitted Totals Order 1996 (increase in housing benefit) for “100.1%” there shall be substituted “100.025%”.

Section 3 Substitution of Schedule to the Permitted Totals Order 1996

For the Schedule to the Permitted Totals Order 1996 there shall be substituted the Schedule set out in the Schedule to this Order.
