Section 1Title, commencement and application

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Shellfish (Specification of Crustaceans) Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on 26th April 2001.

(2) These Regulations do not apply in relation to Scotland or in relation to Wales as defined in section 155(1) of the Government of Wales Act 1998 .

Section 2Specification of crustaceans

Crabs are hereby specified for the purposes of section 1(1) of the Sea Fisheries (Shellfish) Act 1967.
