Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Local Authorities (Armorial Bearings) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 12th April 2001.

The Local Authorities (Armorial Bearings) Order 2001
Section 2
The armorial bearings which, immediately before 1st April 1974, were lawfully borne and used by the council named in column (1) of the following Table may be borne and used by the corresponding council named in column (2) of the Table, provided they have first been exemplified according to the laws of arms and recorded in the College of Arms—
