The A45 Trunk Road (Packington Crossroads Junction Improvement Slip Roads) Order 2001

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the A45 Trunk Road (Packington Crossroads Junction Improvement Slip Roads) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 17 May 2001.

Section 2

In this Order—

(1) all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway;

(2)

(i) “the slip roads” means the new highways which the Secretary of State proposes to construct along the routes described in the Schedule to this Order and which connect the trunk road with other highways at the places stated in that Schedule;

(ii) “the trunk road” means the A45 Trunk Road in the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull and the County of Warwickshire; and

(iii) “the plan” means the plan numbered HA 10/PS/201 marked “The A45 Trunk Road (Packington Crossroads Junction Improvement Slip Roads) Order 2001”, signed by authority of the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions and deposited at DETR Records Management Branch, Floor 13 (IMD), Ashdown House, St. Leonards On Sea, Hastings, East Sussex TN37 7GA.

Section 3

The slip roads shall become trunk roads from the date when this Order comes into force.

Section 4

The centre line of each of the slip roads is indicated by a heavy black line on the plan.
