Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2001.

Section 2

The following provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 shall come into force on 14th May 2001:

(a) section 18(2), (3), (5), (6) and (7);

(b) paragraphs 1(2), 3(2), 5, 8(1), 9(1), 11, 12, 13(3), 14(b), 15(3) and 16 of Schedule 2 (and section 18(4) so far as relating to those provisions);

(c) paragraphs 1 and 4 of Schedule 4 (and section 61 so far as relating to those provisions); and

(d) paragraphs 1, 6 and 7 of Schedule 6 (and section 73 so far as relating to those provisions) .
