Section 1Citation, commencement, interpretation and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the National Blood Authority (Establishment and Constitution) Amendment Order 2001 and shall come into force on 29th May 2001.
(2) In this Order—
“ the Order ” means the National Blood Authority (Establishment and Constitution) Order 1993 .
(3) This Order extends to England and Wales.

Section 2Constitution of the Authority

Article 4 of the Order is amended by substituting, in sub-paragraph (1)(b), for the words “five members” the words “six members” and, in sub-paragraph (1)(d), for the words “four members” the words “five members”.
