Section 1

(1) This Order may be cited as the Elections Act 2001 (Supplemental Provisions) (No. 2) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 11th May 2001.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales only.

Section 2

Section 16(1) of the Representation of the People Act 1985 (postponement of poll at parish or community council elections) shall be modified so as not to apply to any polls due to be held on 7th June 2001.
