Section 1Citation and commencement

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Highways Noise Payments and Movable Homes (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on 1st June 2001.

(2) These Regulations extend to England only.

Section 2Definition of “specified level”

Regulation 2 of the Highways Noise Payments and Movable Homes (England) Regulations 2000 shall be amended by the addition in the appropriate place of the following words—

“specified level” means a noise level of L10 (18-hour) of 68 dB(A) .
