Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the Rent Officers (Housing Benefit Functions) (Scotland) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 2nd July 2001.

(2) This Order extends to Scotland only.

Section 2 Amendment to the Rent Officers (Housing Benefit Functions) (Scotland) Order 1997

(1) The Rent Officers (Housing Benefit Functions) (Scotland) Order 1997 shall be amended in accordance with this article.

(2) In article 3A, the words “the day before” shall be omitted.

(3) In paragraph 4(2)(b)(iii) of Schedule 1 to that Order, for the words “kitchen or toilet”, in both places where those words occur, there shall be substituted the words “kitchen, toilet, bathroom and room suitable for living in”.
