Section 1Title, commencement and extent

These Regulations may be cited as the Foot-and-Mouth Disease (Marking of Meat, Meat Products, Minced Meat and Meat Preparations) (No. 2) Regulations 2001; they extend to England and come into force on 20th July 2001.

Section 2Amendments

The date “23rd September 2001” shall be substituted for the date “23rd July 2001” in the following provisions—

(a) paragraph 3A(3) of Part VI of Schedule 2 to the Meat Products (Hygiene) Regulations 1994 ;

(b) regulation 7(7) and regulation 8(8) of the Minced Meat and Meat Preparations (Hygiene) Regulations 1995 ; and

(c) paragraph 3 of Part I of Schedule 13 to the Fresh Meat (Hygiene and Inspection) Regulations 1995 .
