Section 1Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service Trusts (Membership and Procedure) Amendment (England) Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on 13th August 2001.

(2) These Regulations extend to England only.

Section 2Amendment of Regulations

In regulation 11 of the National Health Service Trusts (Membership and Procedure) Regulations 1990 (disqualification for appointment of chairman and non-executive directors), in paragraph (5) , after paragraph (a) insert—

(aa) the National Clinical Assessment Authority
