Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Primary Care Trusts (Membership, Procedure and Administration Arrangements) Amendment (England) Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on 13th August 2001.

(2) These Regulations extend to England only.

Section 2 Amendment of Regulations

In Schedule 1 to the Primary Care Trusts (Membership, Procedure and Administration Arrangements) Regulations 2000 (Special Health Authorities of which the chairman and members are not disqualified under regulation 5(1)(e))—

(a) after “National Blood Authority” insert “National Clinical Assessment Authority” , and

(b) after “National Institute for Clinical Excellence” insert “United Kingdom Transplant” .
