Section 1
(1) This Order may be cited as the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2001.
(2) In this Order, “section 19 day” means the day on which section 19 of the Act comes into force.

The Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2001
Section 2
(1) 20th July 2001 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the provisions of the Act listed in Part 1 of the Schedule to this Order, for all purposes.
(2) 3rd September 2001 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the provisions of the Act listed in Part 2 of that Schedule, for the purposes indicated there (or, where no purposes are indicated, for all purposes).
