Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Football (Disorder) (Duration of Powers) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 28th August 2001.

Section 2Continuation of powers beyond initial period
Applications under section 14B of the Football Spectators Act 1989 (banning orders made on a complaint) may be made, and the powers conferred on a constable by sections 21A and 21B of that Act (summary measures) may be exercised, during the period of one year from 28th August 2001.
