Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Sussex Downs College (Incorporation) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 1st September 2001 (“the commencement date”).

Section 2

There shall be established as from the commencement date a body corporate called “Sussex Downs College”, for the purpose of establishing and conducting as from the operative date a new educational institution of that name.

Section 3

The operative date in relation to the further education corporation established by this Order shall be 1st November 2001, and the corporation shall conduct Sussex Downs College from that date.
