Section 1Citation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000 (Commencement No. 1) (England) Order 2001.

(2) This Order extends to England only.

Section 2Appointed Day

1st October 2001 is the day appointed for the coming into force of sections 1 to 5, and 7(1) to (4) of the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000.
