Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Southampton Community Health Services National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment (No.2) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 24th September 2001.

(2) In this Order—

“the principal Order ” means the Southampton Community Health Services National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1992 ;

“the Establishment Amendment Order ” means the Southampton Community Services National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 2001 ;

“ the trust ” means the National Health Service trust established by the principal Order;

Section 2 Amendment of the NHS trust Establishment Order

For Article 3 of the principal Order (nature and functions of the trust) there shall be substituted the following article—

Nature and functions of the trust

(1) The trust is established for the purposes specified in section 5(1) of the Act.

(2) The trust’s functions shall be to provide goods and services, namely community health services, for the purposes of the health service, at or from Central Health Clinic, East Park Terrace, Southampton SO14 0YL;

and at or from any associated hospitals, establishments and facilities.

Section 3 Revocation of the Establishment Amendment Order

The Southampton Community Health Services National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 2001 is hereby revoked.
