Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the British Nationality Act 1981 (Amendment of Schedule 6) Order 2001.

(2) This Order shall come into force on 4th December 2001.

Section 2 Amendment of Schedule 6 to British Nationality Act 1981

In Schedule 6 to the British Nationality Act 1981—

(a) in the entry relating to the Falkland Islands and Dependencies, omit “and Dependencies”, and

(b) after the entry relating to St Helena and Dependencies, insert “South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands”.
