Section 1 Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Pension Sharing (Excepted Schemes) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 5th March 2001.

Section 2 Exception of public service pension schemes

The public service pension schemes relating to the following offices are excepted:

Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury;

Lord Chancellor; and

Speaker of the House of Commons.

Section 3 Revocation

The Pension Sharing (Excepted Schemes) Order 2000 is revoked .
