Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

These Regulations, which extend to England only, may be cited as the Community Charges, Council Tax and Non-Domestic Rating (Enforcement) (Magistrates' Courts) (England) Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on 1st April 2001.

Section 2 Amendment of regulations

In each of the following provisions, for the words “clerk of the court ” there shall be substituted the words “justices' chief executive for the court”—

(a) regulation 52(4) of the Community Charges (Administration and Enforcement) Regulations 1989 ;

(b) regulation 23(4) of the Non-Domestic Rating (Collection and Enforcement) (Local Lists) Regulations 1989 ;

(c) regulation 57(3) of the Council Tax (Administration and Enforcement) Regulations 1992 .
