Section 1Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the Friendly Societies Act 1974 (Seal of the Financial Services Authority) Regulations 2001 and come into force on 17th December 2001.

Section 2The Seal of the Financial Services Authority
The seal of the Financial Services Authority to be used for the registration of any society or document (including any amendment to any document) under the Friendly Societies Act 1974, the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965 , the Building Societies Act 1986 , or the Friendly Societies Act 1992 , or otherwise for sealing any document for the purposes of any of those Acts must bear the words “Financial Services Authority” and “Mutual Societies”.
