Section 1
This Order may be cited as the A49 Trunk Road in Cheshire (County of Shropshire Border to the Borough of Warrington Border) (Detrunking) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 1st April 2002.

Section 2
In this Order—
(i) “the plan”
(ii) “principal road”
(iii) “the trunk road”
Section 3
The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a principal road from the date on which the order comes into force.
