Section 1Citation, interpretation and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the Carers and Disabled Children Act 2000 (Commencement No. 1) (England) Order 2001.
(2) In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires:—
“ the Act ” means the Carers and Disabled Children Act 2000.
(3) This Order extends to England only.

Section 2Appointed Day

The day appointed for the coming into force of the provisions of the Act specified in the Schedule to this Order is 1st April 2001.
