Section 1
(1) This Order may be cited as the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000 (Commencement) Order 2001.
(2) In this Order “ the Act ” means the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000.

The Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000 (Commencement) Order 2001
Section 2
(1) Subject to paragraph (2), sections 1 to 9 (including Schedules 1 to 3) of the Act shall come into force on 2nd April 2001.
(2) For the purpose of the imposition of a requirement or the giving of an express authorisation by a Minister of the Crown acting personally in accordance with section 19D(3) of the Race Relations Act 1976 , section 1 of the Act shall come into force on 26th March 2001.
