Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Solicitors' Incorporated Practices (Amendment) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 6th April 2001.

Section 2

In article 3 of the Solicitors' Incorporated Practices Order 1991 , after the words “In this Order:—” there shall be inserted the following definitions—

“director” shall include a reference to a member of a limited liability partnership;

“limited liability partnership” has the meaning given by section 1(2) of the Limited Liability Partnerships Act 2000 ;

“member of a limited liability partnership” shall be construed in accordance with section 4 of the Limited Liability Partnerships Act 2000;
