Section 1Citation, commencement and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the Disabled Facilities Grants and Home Repair Assistance (Maximum Amounts) (Amendment) (England) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 2nd April 2001.

(2) This Order extends to England only.

Section 2Amendment of Order

The Disabled Facilities Grants and Home Repair Assistance (Maximum Amounts) Order 1996 is amended in accordance with the following paragraphs.

Section 3Home repair assistance—maximum amount for one application

In Article 4—
(a) delete “Subject to article 5”; and
(b) in paragraphs (a) and (b)(ii), for “£2,000” substitute “£5,000”.

Section 4Home Repair Assistance: maximum amount in any three year period

Article 5 is revoked.
