Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Petty Sessions Areas (Amendment) Order 2001 and shall come into force for the purposes of article 3 on 31st March 2002 and for all other purposes on 1st April 2001.

(2) In this Order “the 1999 Order ” means the Petty Sessions Areas Order 1999 .

Section 2 Petty sessions areas

For the Schedule to the 1999 Order there shall be substituted the Schedule to this Order.

Section 3 Petty sessions areas

For the entries in column 1 of Part I of the Schedule to the 1999 Order as substituted by this Order opposite the entry “HUMBERSIDE” in column 2, there shall be substituted—

Beverley and the Wolds

Bridlington

Goole and Howdenshire

Grimsby and Cleethorpes

Hull and Holderness

North Lincolnshire
