Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Wigan and Leigh Health Services and the Wrightington Hospital National Health Service Trusts (Dissolution) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 1st April 2001.

Section 2Dissolution of NHS trusts
(1) The Wigan and Leigh Health Services National Health Service Trust established by the Wigan and Leigh Health Services National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1992 is hereby dissolved, and accordingly that Order is hereby revoked.
(2) The Wrightington Hospital National Health Service Trust established by the Wrightington Hospital National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1991 is hereby dissolved, and accordingly that Order is hereby revoked.
