Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Legal Aid Board (Abolition) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 2nd April 2001.

Section 2Abolition of the Legal Aid Board

The Legal Aid Board established under section 3 of the Legal Aid Act 1988 shall cease to exist.
