Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice and Court Services Act 2000 (Commencement No. 9) Order 2002.

Section 2

Section 57 of the Criminal Justice and Court Services Act 2000 (testing persons in police detention) shall come into force on 20th May 2002 within the following police areas only:

(i) Bedfordshire;

(ii) Devon and Cornwall;

(iii) Lancashire;

(iv) Merseyside;

(v) South Yorkshire; and

(vi) North Wales.
