Section 1Citation, commencement and interpretation and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the National Health Service Trusts (Originating Capital) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 1st April 2002.
(2) In this Order—
“the Schedule” means the Schedule to this Order.
(3) This Order extends to England only.

Section 2Originating capital of NHS trusts

The originating capital of an NHS trust specified in column 1 of the Schedule shall be of the amount specified opposite it in column 2 of the Schedule.
